We had five main objectives when we designed the TMC-1 remote

  1. Make the best possible monitor control interface, suitable for Stereo, 5.1 and 7.1, Immersive/Atmos.

  2. Provide a unified user interface for all systems, large and small.

  3. Include Talkback, Listen back, and cue sends.

  4. Include automation features for ADR and ISDN / Source Connect.

  5. Simple, flexible setup.

We think we have achieved the best connection for each of the devices we control, ranging from the XMon to the DAD AX32 / MTRX.

A-Mon

Analogue Monitor Controller for Atmos, 7.1, 5.1 and Stereo


A-Mon is designed as a analogue Stereo / 5.1 / 7.1 monitor controller for use with the TMC-1 remote. Using feedback from existing TMC-1 customers, the A-Mon is a full studio monitor system that incorporates some unique features including re-assigning the rear surround to side surround when switching from 7.1 to 5.1 with surround level correction.

  • Six Inputs: 1x 7.1, 1x 5.1 and 4 stereo Inputs, or 2x 7.1 Inputs and 4 stereo Inputs

I-MON 34 I/P, 27 O/P ANALOG MONITOR CONTROLLER FOR ATMOS/AURO, 7.1, 5.1 AND STEREO

Based on the A-Mon, the I-Mon immersive analogue monitor control unit is housed in a 1U rack mount box. Designed for any format from stereo to 12 or 14 channel immersive audio. This versatile unit is designed to provide a cost effective solution to installing immersive monitoring in smaller studios. The I-Mon may be configured with either 12 or 14 channel Main input and Main output and with either 1 or 2 talkback and listen mic inputs.

Xpand

ATMOS / AURO EXPANSION FOR AVID XMON AND CB A-MON

XPand is designed to allow smaller studios to implement Atmos or Auro without major changes to their existing monitor system.  XPand can be controlled from the TMC-1 or from the Icon monitor control when used with a Mac/Windows App.

XPand provides up to 8 extra channels to the main input and output path of the XMon or A-Mon. Where only 4 channels are required the XPand can be used to switch the rear surround to side when changing from Atmos / 7.1 to 5.1, and add bass extension for the surround.

PD-1NET

The PD-1 is a new concept in DAW monitoring based on the film mixing concept of the ”PEC/Direct” panel that allows you to mix with separate Dialog, Music and Effects Stems (sub-mixes).

With the PD-1Net, you can monitor any combination while preserving the ability to ‘Solo in Place’ any source track. The solo, mute and source/playback switching are implemented within the DAW. Audio is mixed in the workstation to generate the individual monitor feeds (LCRS...). This reduces cost and complexity by eliminating external connections and hardware. Solo with Mute allows the output groups to be Solo Safe so that ‘Solo In Place’ may be used within a single DAW without losing Solo on the output groups. The PD-1 has two layers, the stem layer and track layer. The stem layer has a maximum of 32 stems in banks of 8. The track layer expands any stem to up 16 tracks, in 2 banks of 8. The Bank key steps though available stems or tracks.

FILM MONITOR REMOTE

The complete film monitoring solution, a PD-2 in combination with the TMC-1. The PD-2 is a new Atmos compatible version of the PD-1 “In the Box” Pec/Direct. The TMC-1 multi format monitor controller for Avid XMon or MTRX, NTP Penta, DAD AX32, Trinnov D-Mon or CB A-Mon.

The TC-5 is a professional MTC/LTC interface with LED display, Video Sync, Word Clock input and USB port. The TC-5 is designed to be equally at home in Audio, Video and Lighting Environments, applications include Digital Audio Workstations, Non Linear Video Editors, Mixing Consoles, Show Control and Lighting Control.

As a test tool the TC-5 can check the frequency of Timecode, MTC, Video and Word Clock. The TC-5 can also compare LTC with MTC.
